TRINITY COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 15 (Building and Construction) OF THE TRINITY COUNTY CODE ESTABLISHING LIMITED DENSITY RURAL DWELLINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10 AM, or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in the Trinity County Library Conference Room located at 351 Main Street, Weaverville, California, the Trinity County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on an Ordinance of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Trinity Amending Title 15 (Building and Construction) of the Trinity County Code to Adopt Chapter 15.25-Limited Density Rural Dwellings.
This item was deliberated by the Trinity County Planning Commission in a hearing conducted April 28, 2022 at which time the Planning Commission voted unanimously to make the following recommendation(s) to the Board of Supervisors:
- Find the adoption and implementation of this ordinance to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3), common-sense exemption, which applies to projects where the activity will not result in a significant effect on the environment.
- Introduce and waive the reading of an ordinance establishing Trinity County Code Section 15.25 regarding Limited Density Rural Dwellings.
- Direct staff to file a CEQA Notice of Exemption within five days of this action
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES are encouraged and invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed action or be present at the public hearing to be heard regarding the actions being considered. To ensure consideration by the Board of Supervisors, all written material concerning the proposed project should be submitted to the Trinity County Clerk of the Board of Supervisors at 11 Court Street, Room 230, P.O. Box 1613, Weaverville, CA 96093, (530) 623-1382, or by email to: clerkoftheboard@trinitycounty.org, no later than three full business days prior to the hearing. All items presented to the Board of Supervisors before or during the public hearing become part of the permanent record.
PLEASE NOTE that any challenge of the nature of the proposed action in court may be limited to addressing only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors at, or prior to, the public hearing.
